Since the onset of Covid 19 in the world, there have been several measures to control this pandemic. Curiosity is on the rise as people are trying everything to help fight this virus.  There are questions on like does drinking hot water help? Or is turmeric great for the body?

Ayurveda is one of the concepts that people are trying to incorporate into the system to prevent, and treat this virus. It's an ancient medical science, with its roots in India.  The plants in the concept help strengthen the body immunity. According to this medicine, the body can withstand infections if all the 7 layers of our body tissues, i.e. (rasa, mamsa, asthi,majja, Medha, and Shukra) are protected.

Moringa

Moringa is an herb that can reduce many health complications.  It's a great herb to boost immunity. It's a powerful immune booster, as it has more 7 times more vitamin C than oranges.  Vitamin C is the nutrient that helps the body build strong immunity.

Moringa also helps strengthen muscles, tissues, and cells, and even help your body to heal.  It has high levels of iron, potassium, calcium, and amino acid.

Ginger

Ginger has antioxidant and inflammatory properties. It helps stimulates your metabolism and helps in boosting immunity. The spice helps in respiratory tract infection. You can decide to consume it by putting it in your meals, or decide to chewing it fresh.

Neem

Neem is an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and strong spermicidal agents. It keeps the body from attacks by harmful pathology. Additionally, it keeps the body clean by purifying the blood and flashing away and strengthening immunity.

Take 5 grams of neem leaves and grind them using a mortar and pestle. You should have it in on an empty stomach. You aren't supposed to eat or drink anything after taking it for about one hour.

You shouldn't also take neem for more than 15 days. Pregnant women, children, and senior citizens should steer away from this herb.

Turmeric

Turmeric is curcumin, is a phytochemical that can remove toxins from your body. It strengthens the immunity system to fight off germs and bacteria.  Add an extra dash of turmeric to your meals or takes it with milk.

Several other spices like garlic, ginger, and black cumin and other herbs used by Ayurveda medical concept. One can take the herbs and spices to boost their immunity, thus helping in fighting Covid 19.
